Beginning Services
1. Call to arrange an intake interview.
PTC Staff will set up an appointment to complete an intake interview before beginning services.
Contact the appropriate PTC location to arrange the intake interview. Someplace Safe currently operates centers in: Fergus Falls, Perham, Glenwood, Morris and Ortonville, MN.
Please leave your full name and a contact information on our voicemail if staff is unavailable, and we will return your call as soon as possible.
2. Complete intake interview and tour.
For an intake, individuals will need:
- Copies of any court orders pertaining to time with their children.
- Current driver’s license or government issued photo ID if they will be transporting children.
- $25 intake fee
They will also tour the Parenting Time Center at this time. This is their opportunity to go over policies and procedures with staff, as well as ask any questions they may have. If setting up supervised parenting time, they are encouraged to bring along their children, if possible, to familiarize them with the center before their first visit.
3. Confirm first scheduled appointment.
A family will not be scheduled until all parties’ intakes are completed. PTC staff will contact them to confirm their first appointment. If staff leaves a phone message for a party to call back and confirm the date and time, they will need to contact the Parenting Time Center and confirm that they agree to the appointment. If we do not hear from them, there is no appointment.
