What Would YOU Do With One-Hundred Dollars?

The following essay was written by a Fourth Grade student at Prairie Wetlands Learning Center/Cleveland Elementary in Fergus Falls, MN, and resulted in a $100 donation from the Fergus Falls Kiwanis group. "If I had one-hundred dollars... If I had one-hundred dollars I would give it to Someplace Safe. You may ask "why there"? Because I love all of the thoughtful people who put so much time and effort into making it what it is now. For giving so many people homes that they can feel safe as they sleep and live. I chose them because they have made an emergency shelter for women and children. They are not just in Fergus Falls. They have spread to many surrounding areas. Some are even located in Glenwood, Morris, and Perham. I was reading my report to my dad and I learned that they have helped someone in my family in a huge way. That helped me realize that so many people you might even know have been helped by Someplace Safe. I love what you have been doing. Keep it up!" By Morgan Thanks for your kind words and thoughtfulness, Morgan! Now, what would YOU do with one-hundred dollars?
