Tis the Season for Tea

Someplace Safe is in the midst of planning two very exciting events for the month of April, and we hope you can join us! On Saturday, April 14, we will host our 3rd Annual Vintage Tea & Fashion Show at the Living Waters Church in Alexandria, Minnesota. This year's event will feature a Vintage Fashion Show highlighting clothing provided by area theaters, and coordinated by Becky Hobbs. Doors will open at 1:30pm. A light lunch will be catered by The Corral. Tickets are $15 per person, and available at the Someplace Safe Douglas Outreach office located at 700 Cedar St - Suite 237 in Alexandria.     Then, on Sunday, April 22, Nashville recording artist Connie Lee will entertain the crowd at the 4th Annual Ladies of All Ages Tea at the Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood, Minnesota. The cost is $15 for Adults and $8 for ages 12 and under, which also includes a light lunch. Doors will open at 12:30pm. Tickets are available at: The Walk-in Closet, Glenwood State Bank, Curves, Milady Milad Hair Design and Spa, or by calling Someplace Safe at (320)634-3483. Both events will also feature our Tea Cup Sales, back by popular demand, as well as Silent Auctions with a wide variety of items and experiences available, sure to suit the tastes of everyone! All proceeds from these events will go directly to benefit local victims and survivors. Supplemental funds will also be provided by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans at both events.
