Training and Education

Someplace Safe training opportunities availableSomeplace Safe works with a variety of individuals, groups, and organizations to help educate and raise awareness about the work we do in our communities

Last year, staff facilitated 35 trainings to 480 community members and professionals across the region. Advocates, staff, and volunteers provided at least 197 presentations and educational opportunities reaching over 12,500 individuals in schools, civic groups, churches, and local communities.

“Our partnership with Someplace Safe has been invaluable in helping the efforts to end violence in our community. Much of what we do goes hand in hand, supporting one another and working together to make sure that those in crisis can find the resources they need. This work takes a community, and it is up to all of us to get involved.”
