The Blue Campaign to End Human Trafficking, which will be observed throughout the month of January, is an annual effort by the Department of Homeland Security to combat human trafficking in the United States. Working in collaboration with law enforcement, government and private organizations, and community members, the Blue Campaign strives to protect the basic human right of freedom, and to bring those who exploit human lives to justice.Through the Blue Campaign, communities may raise public awareness about human trafficking, leverage partnerships, educate the public to recognize human trafficking, and report suspected instances.

On Sunday, January 14, 2018, Someplace Safe will observe the Blue Campaign to End Human Trafficking.  We invite you to join us in participating the Blue Campaign, by wearing blue as a statement of solidarity and support for victims of human trafficking in our communities.
