  • Computers and printers
  • Televisions
  • Household Chemicals
  • Large appliances
  • Mattresses or sleeper sofas
  • Encyclopedias/Textbooks
  • Exercise equipment prior to 2005
  • Weapons
  • Broken Items or
  • Items with holes, tears, stains, wet or mildewed

Because of safety standards, environmental regulations, and high disposal cost, we cannot accept these items. Dollars we use to dispose of the above items take away funds from our clients and programming.

MINNESOTA STATE LAW PROHIBITS INDIVIDUALS FROM DONATING ITEMS THAT ARE OBSOLETE OR IN NON-WORKING CONDITION

Donations and proceeds go directly to support victims and survivors of crime, and Someplace Safe services and programming. Someplace Safe is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization.
