Our priority, as always, is the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, donors, shoppers, and clients. As such, Someplace Safe Thrift Stores have implemented new safety measures to keep staff, volunteers, donors, shoppers, and clients safe. These include:

  • Requiring staff and volunteers to have daily health screenings.
  • Increasing cleaning and sanitization, with extra attention to high-touch surfaces.
  • Providing hand sanitizer at each entrance and exit as well as on the checkout table for staff, volunteers, donors, shoppers, and customer use.
  • Providing face coverings for our staff and volunteers.
  • Requesting staff to wear face coverings.
  • Ensuring social distancing of six feet or more.
  • Aisle traffic will be one way, indicated with directional arrows.
  • The fitting rooms will be temporarily closed.
  • Altering hours of operation to allow for additional cleaning and donation processing time.
