Over 10,064 hours of service were contributed by hundreds of dedicated individuals to help support our work and outreach efforts in our most recent fiscal year. These contributions equaled an economic impact worth over $287,000, all from individuals giving their time!

Please allow time for a staff person to contact you. All volunteers are subject to a Background Study provided by Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

Crisis Line Volunteer Training

If you would like to get started on your training now, visit the Office for Victims of Crime's Training and Technical Assistance Center to complete the Victims Assistance Training (VAT) Online. VAT Online is a foundational Web-based victim assistance training program that offers victim service providers and allied professionals the opportunity to acquire the essential skills and knowledge they need to more effectively assist victims of crime. VAT Online has four sections: Basics, Core Competencies and Skills, Crimes, and Specific Considerations for Providing Victim Services.
