Parenting Time Center Services

Safe Exchanges

Safe exchanges are available for families in which children need to be exchanged between participants, usually for weekend or holiday visits. Families experiencing these situations can utilize the PTC as a safe alternative to conflicted confrontations, or exchanging children in parking lots, at police stations, fast food restaurants, and other public areas. PTC staff facilitate the physical exchange of the child(ren) and maintain a strict, no-contact policy for participants while at the PTC. Participants wait in separate areas while staff walk children from one participant to the other, eliminating any opportunity for face-to-face contact or other communications.

Supervised Parenting Time

Supervised parenting time (visitation) is for families in which the participant(s) is/are not allowed to be with their child(ren) unsupervised. Participants who are court-ordered to have supervised parenting time with their child(ren) can do so in an atmosphere conducive to healthy parent-child interaction. Trained staff are present to observe and document what takes place at each visit.

Supervised Phone Calls

This service is available to participants and children making phone contact where supervision is required. PTC Staff is present to document what takes place during each supervised phone contact.
