Kick Off the Holiday Giving Season and Make a Difference in Your Community!

In this season of thankfulness, Someplace Safe would like to thank YOU for helping over 3,600 individuals find safety, options, and hope this past year!

For nearly 40 years, victims, survivors, families, and community members have turned to Someplace Safe for services, support, and help in their most critical time of need. We simply could not do this without you! We invite you to take a look at what we accomplished together this past year through our community Advocacy Offices, Parenting Time Centers, Thrift Stores, and Safe Harbor programming:

  • Over 420 nights of safety were provided to adults and children who were victimized by violence and abuse;
  • Emergency meals were provided over 1,150 times to adults and children while in safe housing;
  • Crisis assistance was provided to crime victims over 2,500 times through the agency’s 24-hour crisis line;
  • The Someplace Safe Thrift Stores provided 200 store vouchers to 472 victims of crime and community members in need, valued at nearly $14,000.00;
  • Over 1,400 safe exchanges and supervised parenting time visits were conducted at Someplace Safe Parenting Time Centers; and
  • Professional Trainings and Community Presentations were provided to an audience of nearly 14,650 individuals.

For the individuals and families who utilized Someplace Safe services this past year, this support made a world of difference on their journey to becoming strong, empowered survivors!

“The advocate gave me information on ways to stay safe.

I could not have done it without the help Someplace Safe gave me!”
