Donate:

Studies have shown that having too much clutter around your home can cause stress. When you clean out your clutter and

donate your gently used items to Someplace Safe Thrift Stores, you not only improve your own wellbeing, but you may also feel great knowing you are helping to build community by supporting Someplace Safe programs and services. Your donations stock our shelves and provide local survivors of crime with the clothing, furniture, and household items to help them start over.

Someplace Safe was happy to reopen our community thrift stores last month, with an abundance of caution in place. In consideration of the safety of our staff, volunteers, customers, and donors - donations are accepted at our Thrift Stores by appointment only. You can make an appointment at the Alexandria store by calling 320-763-4677 or the Morris store at 320-585-6614.

Help Save a Life:

Someplace Safe Thrift stores help raise funds to support the programs and services provided by the agency. The thrift stores also provide clothing, household items, and furniture to survivors of crime who are in need help to rebuild after experiencing violence or abuse. That’s right, your donation of gently used items helps victims, survivors and families to begin new, safer lives!

Last year, the agency provided 158 store vouchers to 255 individuals, at a value of over $5,000.00.Someplace Safe also partners with local agencies to provide community members who are experiencing hardships with store vouchers in their time of need.
